The TOBY Award is the most prestigious and comprehensive award in the commercial real estate industry, recognizing properties that exemplify superior building quality and excellence in building management. Now in its 25th year, the competition judges properties in 14 categories, including by size and purpose. To win the international award, Accenture Tower first won both local and regional competitions. Participants are judged on the effectiveness of their overall management in various categories, including positive community impact, outstanding energy management systems, accessibility for disabled people, emergency evacuation procedures, building personnel training programs, tenant/employee relations programs, and overall quality indicators. Judges also perform detailed property inspections reviewing floor plans, building standards and photographs and interviewing employees to consider all facets of the property and management.

Accenture Tower is the fifth Minneapolis area building to bring home an international TOBY award in the past two years, proving the sophistication of Minneapolis commercial properties and the people who own and manage them.

Accenture Tower is a 31-story, Class A office building consisting of 621,193 rentable square feet and located in the heart of the Minneapolis Central Business District. Designed by Kohn Pederson Fox, the building utilizes granite, marble, brass and mahogany to create a richness of texture and style in public lobbies. Tenants’ specific space needs are satisfied through three distinct floor plates. Each floor is served by passenger and freight elevators with state-of-the-art controls. The building exterior has a beautiful granite and marble façade that is complemented by reflective energy-efficient glass and topped by a dramatic tiered, lighted copper roof.
