Community Involvement
BOMA is also committed to improving the communities in which our members work and live, both through our professional participation in other business organizations and through our contribution of volunteer time to community charities. We have adopted both Project for Pride in Living and Bridging as our charity partners and BOMA members have dedicated hundreds of hours of volunteer labor to these wonderful organizations.

BOMA participates in a variety of other business organizations with common purposes to ensure adequate representation of BOMA membership interests throughout the local business community. These other organizations include:

  • Bloomington Chamber of Commerce
  • Minneapolis Downtown Council
  • Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District
  • Minneapolis Regional Chamber
  • Minneapolis SafeZone
  • Minnesota Chamber of Commerce
  • Twin West Chamber of Commerce
  • Other issue-specific coalitions such as the Property Tax Reform Coalition
  • Other local and state government advisory groups
