Through the efforts of paid staff, a professional lobbying firm, and the work of dedicated members, BOMA Greater Minneapolis represents the interests of the commercial real estate industry to a broad range of local, state, and federal decision-makers who impact members’ operations. We’re on the front lines every day.
BOMA’s Government Affairs Council, comprised of BOMA members, staff, and representatives of our lobbying firm, meets monthly to steer the advocacy efforts of the organization. The Council meets with a variety of lawmakers and government officials to share information about issues that impact commercial real estate. The Council also coordinates efforts with the BOMA Minnesota Coalition (a coalition involving BOMA Saint Paul, BOMA Duluth, and representatives from other communities around Minnesota), BOMA International, and other outside coalitions.
