BOMA Advocacy

Capitol 3.jpgWHAT WE DO
Through the efforts of association staff, a professional lobbying firm, and the work of dedicated committee members, BOMA Greater Minneapolis represents the interests of the commercial real estate industry to a broad range of local, state, and federal decision-makers who impact members' operations. We're on the front lines everyday.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COUNCIL
BOMA's Government Affairs Council, comprised of BOMA members, staff, and representatives of our lobbying firm, meets monthly to steer the advocacy efforts of the organization. The Council meets with a variety of lawmakers and government officials to share information about issues that impact commercial real estate. The Council also coordinates efforts with the BOMA Minnesota Coalition (a coalition involving Saint Paul BOMA, BOMA Duluth, and representatives from other communities around Minnesota), BOMA International, and other outside coalitions.

 ADVOCACY WORK
We offer a unifying platform relating to relevant topics in the commercial real estate industry. Members of BOMA benefit from the influence of our organization on public policy decision-makers regarding a broad spectrum of issues at a local, state, and national level.
