Pack for a Purpose - BOMA in the Community

The Emerging Leaders Council hosted Pack for a Purpose on May 23rd, 2017.  BOMA members were invited to volunteer two hours at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan, MN.  Approximately 30 BOMA members had fun competing and working together with other local organizations and packed an impressive 144 boxes, which accounts for 31,104 meals for families in need across the globe. This will feed 85 children for one full year. A happy hour gathering at Lone Oak Grill, sponsored by Harris Companies, followed the volunteer event.  Members enjoyed networking over beverages and appetizers. 

The Emerging Leaders Council is a great committee that focuses on bridging the gap between experienced industry professionals and young professionals of all ages and encourages involvement from these newer members by hosting frequent social and education industry events around the metro area.  This particular event was partnered with the BOMA Mentorship Program as a kick off to their 2017 season.  Please look for future events presented by the Emerging Leaders Council to continue these fun and effective efforts for our membership community!
