Hennepin County Attorney & Sheriff Candidate Forum

Greater Minneapolis is joining the Downtown Council and the Minneapolis Regional Chamber for a post-primary Hennepin County Attorney Candidate Forum on September 15 at Capella Tower. There are seven candidates vying for the role to replace outgoing attorney Mike Freeman.

In addition to hearing from the prevailing primary County Attorney candidates, we will also hear from the two Sheriff candidates. As you remember, Hennepin County has been operating with an interim Sheriff after Dave Hutchinson stepped down from the role.

Both forums will offer a great opportunity to learn which candidates offer the best plan for addressing the needs in Hennepin County. If you are interested in certain topics getting coverage during the event, please let us know.
