The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce advocates for the business community. They often align with BOMA on a number of issues relevant to the commercial real estate community statewide. The Chamber developed the Minnesota Business Benchmarks, a collection of key economic indicators that measures the states competitiveness and health of the economy. These indicators allow the Chamber and BOMA to partner in promoting a vibrant economy. Hear more about the Chamber’s 2017 legislative priorities: tax competitiveness (including proposing the phase-out of Statewide C/I Property Tax), transportation funding, healthcare, education and workforce, environmental reforms, and energy. Doug Loon, President of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, will be speaking. The annual election of the Board of Directors and Year In Review will also take place at this Annual Meeting.
