The presentation will start by reviewing the history of Legionella and Legionnaires Disease so learners understand the hazards associated with building water systems. From there, the education will dive into the current industry standard for water safety: ASHRAE Standard 188.
By reviewing each section of ASHRAE Standard 188, learners can expect to gain an understanding of how to control the risk of waterborne pathogen growth in their building water systems by developing and implementing a water management program in compliance with ASHRAE Standard 188.
