The Department of Public Works is responsible for a variety of functions in support of the City of Minneapolis. Managing the fleet of city vehicles, solid waste recycling, water treatment, parking services and transportation planning all fall under their domain. Much of what downtown workers experience on a daily basis while commuting and operating throughout the day is influenced by public works.
On March 24th, BOMA welcomes Margaret Anderson Kelliher, the new Director of Public Works, to share her plans for the City of Minneapolis. She will share street and sidewalk updates and suggestions on how buildings can best maximize water efficiency and enact waste management initiatives. Determine what you and your downtown tenants need to know about upcoming projects that will impact their workdays.
Guest Speaker: Margaret Anderson Kelliher, Director of Mpls Department of Public Works
