The Southwest Light Rail's 14.5 mile route will serve downtown Minneapolis and the communities of St. Louis Park, Hopkins, Minnetonka, and Eden Prairie. The line will include 16 new stations and will be part of an integrated system of transitways. While the focus of everyone's attention has shifted the last several months, it is still a relevant project for many businesses and residents from Minneapolis to the West/South suburbs. We will find out the progress update during this session.
Meanwhile, Metro Transit has also been revising and adapting their cleaning and disinfecting protocols to meet guidelines and addressing safety concerns. Ridership is currently down, but Met Transit is on the job preparing for the expected recovery. Find out timely and pertinent information to share with your tenants as their employees begin to return to their offices.
